Alliance Management
Global Business Development
For me, ‘Living Science, Transforming Lives’ means developing innovative medicines that have an impact on the daily lives of patients. Our mission is to serve the patients. In Alliance Management, we can contribute to that mission. By combining our expertise and resources with those of our external partners, we can increase the chances of getting new drugs to the patients who need them.
In a collaborative relationship, it’s important to understand and anticipate the mindset of your partner. In our department, beyond management of the contract framework governing our alliances, we are interested in building long-term relationships that translate into a win-win situation for us and our partners as well as for the people who will benefit from innovative new therapies.
Responsibility to patients also means an obligation to question the status quo and make continuous improvements. We continually challenge ourselves, and ask if there is a faster and more efficient way to do our work. That is a part of who we are at Merck Serono.
What I like most about my work is the people around me – their professionalism and commitment to excellence. I also like the culture at Merck Serono that emphasizes the long-term, both in how we build our pipeline of future medicines and the way we care for our people.
